About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee production operations for their electronics manufacturing division in Reading . This role requires a hands-on leader capable of managing a team of technicians and operators, ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of electronic components and assemblies. You will be responsible for optimizing production workflows, maintaining safety standards, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to meet production targets. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities, ensuring targets for output, quality, and efficiency are met.
• Manage, train, and motivate a team of production staff, fostering a productive work environment.
• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Monitor production processes and equipment, identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and drive continuous improvement in production methods.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Manufacturing Supervisor or similar role in an electronics manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and lean manufacturing techniques.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
• Familiarity with electronic assembly processes and equipment.
• Ability to analyze production data and implement corrective actions.
• Relevant vocational qualifications or a degree in engineering or manufacturing management.
