About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled and analytical Manufacturing Systems Analyst to join their team, operating in a fully remote capacity. This role is integral to optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing operations through the analysis, design, and implementation of information systems. You will work closely with production, engineering, and IT teams to identify system requirements, develop solutions, and ensure seamless integration of software and hardware. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, IT systems, and data analysis, coupled with excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage projects remotely. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing manufacturing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
- Design, develop, and implement new or upgraded manufacturing information systems, including MES, ERP modules, and data acquisition systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, translate business needs into technical specifications, and ensure successful system deployment.
- Provide ongoing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for manufacturing systems.
- Develop and conduct user training sessions to ensure effective system adoption and utilization.
- Monitor system performance, analyze data trends, and generate reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in manufacturing systems and IT.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in analyzing and implementing manufacturing systems, such as MES, ERP, or SCADA.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, workflows, and terminology.
- Proficiency in database management, SQL, and data analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with remote teams and stakeholders.
