About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Systems Analyst to join their operations, offering a remote-first role with occasional visits to their Reading facility. This position is instrumental in optimizing and managing the company's manufacturing information systems, including ERP, MES, and other critical software platforms. You will be responsible for ensuring data accuracy, system integration, and providing analytical support to enhance production efficiency and decision-making. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze user requirements and design, configure, and implement enhancements to manufacturing information systems (e.g., ERP, MES, WMS).
- Provide ongoing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for manufacturing software applications.
- Develop and generate reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and support operational decision-making.
- Collaborate with IT, operations, and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration between systems.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and system improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
- Train end-users on system functionalities and best practices for data entry and utilization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in analyzing and supporting manufacturing systems .
- Strong understanding of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems).
- Proficiency in database management and SQL querying.
- Experience with data analysis, reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and system integration.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, adept at working in a remote environment.
