Manufacturing Systems Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Systems Engineer to enhance production capabilities and efficiency at their facility in Bradford, West Yorkshire . This role is focused on the design, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing systems, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. You will play a key part in improving workflows, reducing cycle times, and ensuring the reliability of production equipment. This position offers a dynamic challenge for an engineer looking to apply their expertise in a practical, hands-on manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing systems and production lines.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including P&IDs and flowcharts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to manufacturing equipment and automation.
• Collaborate with R&D and production teams to introduce new products and processes.
• Implement and manage automation projects to enhance efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and contribute to a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience in manufacturing systems engineering or a similar role.
• Knowledge of automation technologies , PLCs, and SCADA systems.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple priorities.
