About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and analytical Marketing Data Analyst to join their team, based in Sunderland , with a hybrid working arrangement. This role is essential for transforming raw marketing data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. You will play a key role in measuring campaign effectiveness, identifying customer behaviour patterns, and optimizing marketing spend. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of marketing metrics, and the ability to communicate complex findings clearly to stakeholders, contributing to data-informed strategies within a growing company.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze marketing data from various sources, including web analytics, CRM, and campaign platforms.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key marketing KPIs and campaign performance.
- Identify trends, patterns, and insights related to customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Conduct A/B testing and provide recommendations for optimizing marketing campaigns and website performance.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to define data requirements and ensure accurate data collection.
- Present findings and insights to marketing leadership and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a data analysis role, preferably within a marketing context.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and common marketing metrics.
- Experience with web analytics platforms like Google Analytics.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Marketing, or a related quantitative field.
