Maths Teacher – January Start Rochford, Essex | January 2027 Salary dependent on experience

All Together Education Recruitment is seeking a Maths Teacher for an 11–19 secondary school with a sixth form in Rochford, Essex, starting in January 2027.

You will join an ambitious Maths department with support from an Assistant Headteacher for Maths and a Lead Practitioner, alongside opportunities for professional development.

The role

Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.

Develop pupils’ mathematical understanding, reasoning and problem-solving skills.

*

Adapt teaching to support and challenge pupils of different abilities.

*

Assess progress and use feedback to address gaps in understanding.

*

Support pupils with revision and preparation for examinations.

*

Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development.

The ideal candidate

*

A recognised teaching qualification and QTS.

*

Strong Maths subject knowledge and experience teaching secondary pupils.

*

Effective classroom management and a positive approach to pupil relationships.

*

A commitment to high expectations and inclusive teaching.

*

Availability to start in January 2027.
