Are you a qualified Maths Teacher looking for a short-term teaching opportunity in Southport?
Tradewind Education is currently recruiting for a Maths Teacher to provide full-time cover at a welcoming secondary school in Southport for approximately two weeks , while a member of staff is away on jury service.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced teacher, ECT or qualified teacher looking for a short-term role with an immediate start.
The Role
As a Maths Teacher , you will:
- Teach Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4 .
- Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons.
- Follow existing schemes of work and lesson plans where provided.
- Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment.
- Assess pupil understanding and provide appropriate feedback.
- Work collaboratively with the Maths department and wider school team.
- Ensure continuity of learning throughout the short-term absence.
The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for a Maths Teacher who:
- Holds QTS or equivalent teaching status .
- Has experience teaching Maths within a secondary school.
