We’re looking for an experienced Measured Building Surveyor to join a growing surveying team in Colchester. You’ll work on a wide range of projects across the UK, carrying out detailed surveys to produce accurate floor plans, elevations and sections. You’ll have the opportunity to work independently while also benefiting from the support and knowledge of experienced surveyors.

The role

* Carry out measured building surveys across a variety of sites * Produce accurate floor plans, elevations and sections * Use Leica total stations and laser scanners * Process survey data and drawings using AutoCAD and Revit * Work independently and as part of a wider surveying team * Opportunity to get involved in topographical and underground utilities surveys * Travel to sites across the UK, with some overnight stays required * Receive ongoing training and technical development What we're looking for * Previous experience carrying out measured building surveys * Strong understanding of producing plans, elevations and sections * AutoCAD and/or Revit experience * Experience with Leica total stations and laser scanning equipment is advantageous * Topographical or underground utilities experience would be a bonus * Good attention to detail and ability to work independently * Full UK driving licence preferred Why join? * Competitive salary based on experience * Varied projects across the UK * Modern surveying technology * Ongoing training and development * Opportunity to broaden your surveying skills * Supportive and experienced team * Long-term career development If you're an experienced Measured Building Surveyor looking for your next opportunity, we'd love to hear from you
