Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical aspects of new consumer products from concept through to production, focusing on user experience and functionality.

• Conduct performance testing, validation, and reliability assessments of product designs.
• Collaborate with industrial designers to ensure aesthetic requirements are met while maintaining engineering integrity.

• Troubleshoot design issues and implement design improvements throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design, with a focus on consumer electronics or durable goods.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360) and an understanding of rapid prototyping techniques.
• Familiarity with various manufacturing processes such as injection molding, stamping, and assembly.
