Key Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations and simulations, such as structural analysis, thermal management, and fluid dynamics.
• Collaborate with naval architects, electrical engineers, and project managers to ensure integrated system design.
• Oversee prototype development and testing, troubleshooting any design-related issues.
• Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, installation guides, and maintenance manuals.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related marine technology field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in mechanical design, with a focus on marine engineering .
• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools.
• Knowledge of marine materials, corrosion prevention, and relevant maritime regulations.
• Experience with propulsion systems, piping, and structural design for vessels.
