Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems for novel medical devices.
• Create detailed 3D CAD models, drawings, and specifications adhering to medical device standards.
• Conduct tolerance analysis , stress testing, and other design validation activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including biomedical engineers, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs.
• Support prototype development, manufacturing transfer, and product lifecycle management.
• Ensure designs meet stringent regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, CE marking).

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with a focus on biomedical applications.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in medical device mechanical design .
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) and familiarity with medical device design controls.
• Understanding of biocompatible materials, sterilization processes, and GMP environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience working in a highly regulated product development environment.
