Key Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design and development of components and systems for special projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and conceptual design work for novel applications.
- Utilize advanced CAD and simulation tools to develop and validate designs.
- Collaborate closely with R&D teams, project managers, and external partners.
- Prepare detailed design documentation, prototypes, and test plans.
- Troubleshoot and iterate on designs based on testing results and project feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3-6 years of experience in mechanical design, with a focus on innovative problem-solving.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., Inventor, SolidWorks) and analysis tools.
- Experience with a variety of manufacturing processes and materials.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team on challenging, often undefined, projects.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
