Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems using industry-standard CAD software .
• Create detailed technical drawings, schematics, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Perform calculations and simulations to ensure designs meet performance specifications and safety standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and quality assurance.
• Support prototyping activities and troubleshoot design-related issues during development.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for existing products and processes.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in mechanical design and product development.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks , Inventor).
• Solid understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model, balancing remote tasks with essential office collaboration in East Sussex .
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
