Key Responsibilities

• Generate detailed technical drawings, specifications, and Bill of Materials (BOMs).
• Conduct basic engineering calculations to support design validation and optimization.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and quality assurance teams to ensure designs meet production standards.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to problem-solving efforts.
• Support the building and testing of prototypes, documenting results and recommending design improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• 2-5 years of professional experience in mechanical design or product development.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Inventor, SolidWorks) and basic FEA understanding.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials commonly used in industrial applications.
• Strong analytical skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team in Derby .
