Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research into novel mechanical principles, materials, and technologies relevant to future product development.
- Design, prototype, and test innovative mechanical systems and components, iterating based on experimental results.
- Utilize advanced CAD software and simulation tools to model, analyze, and optimize new designs.
- Collaborate closely with the R&D team, product management, and external partners to define project scope and technical objectives.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate performance, reliability, and safety of new designs.
- Document research findings, design concepts, and technical specifications, contributing to intellectual property development.
Requirements
- PhD or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with a strong focus on R&D.
- Demonstrable experience in researching and developing novel mechanical systems or technologies.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software and engineering simulation tools (FEA, CFD).
- Strong understanding of fundamental mechanical engineering principles, thermodynamics, and materials science.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and collaboration.
