Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems for renewable energy applications, such as wind turbines or solar tracking systems.
• Create detailed CAD models, engineering drawings, and specifications for manufacturing.
• Perform mechanical analysis, including stress, fatigue, and thermal analysis, to ensure component reliability.
• Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to ensure timely and successful project execution.
• Support the testing, commissioning, and installation of mechanical systems on-site.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing designs and the development of new technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in mechanical design and analysis, preferably within the energy sector.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks , AutoCAD) and simulation tools.
• Familiarity with renewable energy technologies and associated mechanical challenges.
• Strong understanding of materials science and manufacturing processes relevant to large-scale structures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team in Reading .
