Mechanical Engineer

Wolverhampton | Hybrid Working | £50,000

Opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to join a growing water and wastewater engineering business. Working on projects involving pumps, pipework, pressure vessels and process equipment, you will support project delivery from design through to commissioning.

Your Job

• Produce and review engineering calculations, technical specifications and technical documentation

• Work closely with suppliers, customers and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery

• Ensure designs comply with relevant engineering standards and project requirements

• Support equipment selection, technical reviews, testing and commissioning activities

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practice

• Provide technical support throughout project delivery

Your Skills

• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering (BEng Hons or equivalent)

• Mechanical engineering experience within water, wastewater, process, manufacturing, energy or other industrial environments

• Understanding of mechanical systems and equipment used within industrial engineering projects

• Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills

• Understanding of engineering standards and quality requirements

• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams

• Familiarity with engineering design and analysis tools
