Mechanical Fitter - Water Treatment Project

Fraser Edwards are recruiting on behalf of a leading Water Treatment client for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join a long-term installation and remedials contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Mechanical Fitter looking for consistent, long-term work within the water industry.

The Role

• Mechanical installation, maintenance and remedial works across water treatment sites
• Installation, assembly and modification of mechanical equipment and systems
• Mechanical repairs, maintenance and fault finding
• Working from drawings and technical specifications
• Working safely in accordance with site and client requirements
• Completing works to a high standard and within project timescales

Requirements

• Ideally hold current Thames Water Pass
• Relevant mechanical qualifications / trade experience
• Previous experience within water treatment, utilities, industrial or similar environments preferred
• Strong understanding of mechanical installation, maintenance and remedial works
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
• Good health & safety awareness
• Reliable, professional and able to work independently
• Own tools and relevant PPE
