Mechanical Fitter

Pay Rate: £24 per hour CIS Hours: Days Start: Immediate / subject to availability

We are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our client's team on projects across Merseyside, Cheshire and Greater Manchester.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working on fresh water or wastewater systems and be confident carrying out mechanical fitting and pipework installation on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Installing, fitting and maintaining pipework for fresh water or wastewater systems.

• Carrying out mechanical fitting duties on site.

• Reading and working from engineering drawings where required.

• Installing, aligning and assembling pipework, fittings and associated components.

• Supporting maintenance, repair and installation works.

• Working safely and following site health and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter.

• Previous experience with fresh water or wastewater pipework is essential.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good understanding of site health and safety requirements.

• Relevant CSCS or site safety card, where required.
