We're recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing business in the Staffordshire area, part of a globally recognised engineering group. The site offers a supportive team environment, long-term stability and opportunities to develop your technical skills across a varied manufacturing operation.
As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of production machinery and site equipment, with a strong mechanical focus. You'll work proactively to minimise downtime, respond to breakdowns and support planned preventative maintenance across the site.
Requirements
Time-served Maintenance Engineer or equivalent practical experience.
Proven maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical bias with good fault-finding and repair skills.
Experience with planned and reactive maintenance.
Ideally, experience with industrial pipework, welding or lathe operation - although this is not essential.
Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach.
No formal qualifications required where suitable practical experience is demonstrated.
Package
Salary up to £43,000 DOE.
Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm.
25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
