We are currently recruiting for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join an established engineering team at a major manufacturing site in the Grimsby area .This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to work Monday to Friday, days-based hours , while benefiting from a strong salary package, incentive schemes and enhanced overtime rates.
The Package£44,340 starting salaryMonthly incentive scheme8-week closure incentiveMonday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:10Overtime paid at 1.5x Monday - SaturdayOvertime paid at 2x on SundaysEmployer pension contribution of up to 12%Full-time, permanent positionLong-term career opportunity within an established manufacturing environmentThe RoleAs a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the ongoing reliability and performance of site machinery and production equipment.
Working as part of the engineering team, your responsibilities will include: Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the siteDiagnosing and rectifying electrical and/or mechanical faultsResponding effectively to equipment breakdownsSupporting preventative maintenance programmesIdentifying opportunities to improve equipment reliabilityEnsuring maintenance activities are completed safely and efficientlyWorking closely with production and other departments to minimise downtimeMaintaining accurate maintenance recordsSupporting continuous improvement initiatives across the siteAbout YouThe ideal candidate will have: Previous experience in a maintenance engineering role within a manufacturing environmentStrong fault-finding and problem-solving skillsA recognised engineering qualification such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalentGood electrical and/or mechanical maintenance experienceThe ability to work independently as well as part of an engineering teamA proactive approach to preventative maintenance and continuous improvementStrong health & safety awarenessWhy Apply?
