About the Role

You will be responsible for coordinating resources, managing stakeholders, and providing technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of mechanical engineering projects, defining scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure efficient project progress.
• Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure effective collaboration and timely execution of project tasks.
• Monitor project performance, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant engineering standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
• Communicate project status, updates, and key decisions to stakeholders and senior management through regular reports and meetings.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Proven experience as a Project Engineer or in a similar project management role within a mechanical engineering context.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile).
• Familiarity with CAD software and engineering principles relevant to project execution.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure in the Manchester area.
