Location: West Yorkshire based / Nationwide Projects Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 + Company Hybrid Car + Package Employment: Permanent

An established and successful Mechanical Building Services contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Project Manager due to continued growth and a strong order book extending well into 2027.

The business works with a number of major repeat clients across the UK, delivering mechanical building services projects typically ranging in value from £50,000 to £1 million.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager looking to join a stable business with a healthy pipeline of work and long-standing client relationships.

The Role

You will take responsibility for the delivery of mechanical projects from initial handover through to completion, working closely with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.

Projects will be nationwide and will predominantly include:

• Heating replacement and upgrade schemes

• Gas and heating installations

• Full M&E refurbishment projects within the leisure sector

• Retail asset replacement and refurbishment

• Planned mechanical building services upgrades

• Projects for major retail, commercial and public-sector clients

You will be responsible for managing projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered safely, commercially and to the required programme and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Full project management of mechanical building services projects

• Planning and programming works

• Managing site teams and subcontractors

• Procurement and coordination of materials and specialist packages

• Liaising directly with clients and main contractors

• Monitoring project costs, progress and programme

• Ensuring compliance with health & safety requirements

• Managing projects through commissioning, handover and completion

• Maintaining strong relationships with repeat clients

The Candidate

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager with a strong background in the mechanical building services industry.

You should have:

• Previous experience managing mechanical building services projects

• Experience taking projects from commencement through to completion

• Strong client-facing and contractor management skills

• A good understanding of heating, gas and associated mechanical services

• Experience of refurbishment and replacement projects would be particularly useful

• A suitable CSCS card

• The ability and willingness to manage projects nationwide

£50,000 – £60,000 basic salary, depending on experience, plus:
