You will be responsible for crafting compelling press materials, managing media inquiries, and advising on media strategy. Key Responsibilities

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key journalists, editors, and media influencers across various sectors.
• Proactively pitch stories and secure positive media coverage in national, international, and trade publications.
• Develop and write high-quality press releases, media kits, backgrounders, and other PR materials.
• Respond promptly and effectively to media inquiries, acting as a point of contact for press matters.
• Monitor media coverage, analyze trends, and report on campaign effectiveness and sentiment.
• Support the development and execution of crisis communication plans as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in media relations , public relations, or journalism.
• Demonstrated success in securing positive media placements and managing media campaigns.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen understanding of media needs.
• Strong network of media contacts across relevant industries is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work setting.
