About the Role

You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to build and maintain strong relationships with media across the UK and internationally. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive media relations strategies to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
• Cultivate and nurture relationships with key journalists, editors, and media influencers nationwide.
• Craft compelling press releases, statements, and media kits for diverse announcements.
• Act as a primary point of contact for all media inquiries, providing timely and accurate information.
• Manage crisis communications, developing proactive and reactive strategies.
• Monitor media coverage, analyze trends, and report on PR campaign effectiveness to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Significant experience (8+ years) in media relations, public relations, or corporate communications.
• Proven success in developing and executing national media campaigns.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of storytelling.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong media contacts.
• Experience in crisis management and advising senior stakeholders.
• Proficiency with media monitoring and PR analytics tools is essential.
