About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Media Relations Officer to support their communications team in Leeds . Key Responsibilities

• Draft and distribute press releases, statements, and media advisories.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a media relations or journalism-focused role.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with journalists across various sectors.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong understanding of the UK media landscape and current affairs.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• A relevant degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field.
