About the Role

A highly respected medical spa in Brighton is seeking a qualified Medical Aesthetician to join their professional team. This role involves performing advanced skincare treatments under the supervision of medical professionals, contributing to the comprehensive Beauty & Wellness services offered. You will work with a variety of clients, addressing concerns ranging from acne and aging to hyperpigmentation, using sophisticated equipment and medical-grade products. The ideal candidate is passionate about skin health and possesses a deep understanding of dermatological principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced facial treatments, including chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and microneedling.
• Operate and maintain medical-grade aesthetic equipment such as lasers, IPL, and RF devices.
• Conduct thorough skin analysis and develop personalized treatment plans for clients.
• Educate clients on skincare routines, product recommendations, and post-treatment care.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to ensure optimal client outcomes and safety.
• Stay current with industry advancements, new technologies, and best practices in medical aesthetics.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3/4 or equivalent qualification in Beauty Therapy, with a specialization in advanced aesthetics.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Aesthetician or in a similar advanced skincare role.
• Proven experience with laser treatments, chemical peels, and other medical-grade procedures.
• Strong understanding of skin physiology, conditions, and treatments.
• Excellent communication, client service, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to undergo further training and continuous professional development.
