About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Medical Affairs Manager to lead their medical strategy and execution in Bristol . This senior role requires a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, clinical science, and the healthcare landscape. You will be responsible for developing and implementing medical affairs plans, engaging with key opinion leaders (KOLs), and ensuring the scientific integrity of product communications. This is a pivotal opportunity to shape the medical voice of our client's products within the South West England region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the strategic medical affairs plan for assigned products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders and medical experts.
- Oversee the development of scientific publications and presentations.
- Provide medical expertise and support to cross-functional teams, including marketing and R&D.
- Ensure all medical activities are conducted in compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- Advanced scientific degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical affairs or a related role within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful medical affairs strategies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of clinical research, drug development, and regulatory affairs.
