Medical Science Liaison - Immunology

About the Role

Our client, a leading biopharmaceutical company, is seeking a highly knowledgeable and articulate Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to cover the Liverpool region. In this critical field-based role, you will serve as a scientific expert, engaging with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and researchers to foster scientific exchange and support the clinical and scientific understanding of our client's immunology portfolio. You will be responsible for disseminating complex scientific information, gathering insights from the medical community, and contributing to the company's strategic medical affairs objectives. This is a remote position offering significant autonomy and the chance to shape medical engagement in your territory.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals in the field of immunology.
• Disseminate complex scientific and clinical information regarding the company's products and therapeutic areas.
• Gather valuable insights on treatment paradigms, unmet medical needs, and competitive intelligence from the medical community.
• Support investigator-initiated studies (IIS) and provide scientific expertise for clinical trials.
• Deliver scientific presentations and respond to unsolicited requests for information.
• Collaborate with internal medical, clinical, and commercial teams to ensure alignment of scientific strategy.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) in a life science or healthcare-related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison or in a similar medical affairs role within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Deep scientific and clinical expertise in immunology and related therapeutic areas.
• Proven ability to effectively communicate complex scientific data to diverse audiences.
• Strong understanding of the healthcare environment, clinical research processes, and regulatory guidelines.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently in a field-based, remote capacity.
