Senior Medical Science Liaison - Oncology

About the Role

Our client is searching for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specializing in Oncology to join their team, covering the Liverpool region. This field-based role involves engaging with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the medical and scientific community to share cutting-edge scientific and clinical information about our client's therapeutic areas. You will act as a vital link between the company and healthcare professionals, gathering insights and supporting evidence-based medicine. This hybrid role requires significant travel within the designated territory, complemented by remote administrative and strategic planning activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with oncology KOLs, researchers, and clinicians.
• Disseminate complex scientific and clinical data regarding company products and therapeutic areas.
• Respond to unsolicited requests for scientific information from healthcare professionals.
• Gather insights from KOLs on treatment landscapes, unmet medical needs, and research trends.
• Support clinical trial activities, including investigator identification and site engagement.
• Present scientific data at medical congresses and local scientific meetings.

Requirements

• Advanced scientific degree (PharmD, PhD, MD) in a relevant life science field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison, preferably in oncology.
• Deep understanding of oncology, including current treatment paradigms and research.
• Proven ability to engage effectively with key opinion leaders and present complex scientific information.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory and work in a hybrid model.
