Medical Science Liaison (MSL) - Neurology

About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a highly motivated and scientifically adept Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specializing in Neurology to join their expanding team. Operating remotely across Northern Ireland , you will serve as a key scientific and medical expert, fostering relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals within your territory. Your primary focus will be on communicating complex scientific information regarding the company's therapeutic areas and products, supporting research initiatives, and gathering valuable insights from the medical community. This role is integral to advancing medical understanding and appropriate use of innovative treatments.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong scientific relationships with KOLs, researchers, and clinicians in the field of neurology.
• Deliver comprehensive scientific and clinical information on company products and therapeutic areas to healthcare professionals.
• Support investigator-initiated studies and other research collaborations.
• Gather and communicate valuable insights from the medical community regarding disease state, unmet needs, and treatment paradigms.
• Represent the company at scientific congresses, symposia, and advisory boards.
• Provide scientific support for internal teams, including Medical Affairs, R&D, and Marketing.

Requirements

• Advanced scientific degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, DVM, or equivalent) in a relevant life science field.
• Demonstrated experience as a Medical Science Liaison or in a similar medical affairs role within the pharmaceutical industry .
• In-depth knowledge of neurology and its associated therapeutic landscape.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a remote territory effectively.
