Medical Science Liaison (MSL) - Oncology

About the Role

Our client, a globally recognized pharmaceutical innovator , is seeking an accomplished Medical Science Liaison (MSL) with expertise in Oncology to join their dedicated team covering Northern Ireland . This role is crucial for fostering relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals (HCPs) in the oncology space. You will serve as a scientific expert, facilitating the exchange of clinical and scientific information regarding the company's therapeutic areas. This position offers a blend of remote engagement and field-based activities, providing a strategic opportunity to influence clinical practice and advance patient care in oncology across Northern Ireland .

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with oncologists, researchers, and other key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the region.
• Present complex scientific and clinical data on oncology therapeutics to healthcare professionals and academic institutions.
• Gather insights from KOLs on unmet medical needs, clinical practice, and emerging research trends.
• Support clinical trial activities, including site identification and investigator engagement.
• Respond to unsolicited medical information requests in a scientifically accurate and compliant manner.
• Attend and present at relevant medical congresses and symposia in Northern Ireland and beyond.

Requirements

• Advanced scientific degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent) in a relevant life science discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an MSL or in a similar role within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry .
• Proven therapeutic area knowledge in Oncology is essential.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with a strong scientific acumen.
• Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively.
• Demonstrated understanding of regulatory affairs and compliance guidelines relevant to the pharmaceutical industry in the UK .
