Medical Science Liaison (MSL) - Oncology

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly knowledgeable and engaging Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specializing in Oncology to join their team, covering the Portsmouth area and surrounding regions. This role involves building strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the oncology field, sharing cutting-edge scientific and clinical information, and gathering insights to support the company's medical strategy. You will be a vital link between the company's medical experts and the external scientific community, ensuring accurate and responsible dissemination of data for their innovative cancer therapies.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with key healthcare professionals and researchers in the oncology therapeutic area.
• Deliver accurate, balanced, and scientifically rigorous information on the company's products and relevant disease states.
• Gather and communicate valuable insights from KOLs regarding clinical practice, unmet medical needs, and research trends.
• Support the planning and execution of medical education programs and advisory boards.
• Provide medical and scientific support for clinical trials, including investigator-initiated studies.
• Represent the company at scientific congresses and external medical meetings.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D.) in a life science or healthcare-related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an MSL or in a related medical affairs role within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Deep scientific and clinical knowledge of oncology and cancer therapeutics.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory and occasionally to national/international meetings.
