About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) with a specialization in Oncology to join their expanding medical affairs team. This is a field-based role, operating remotely across a designated territory, requiring extensive travel to engage with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals (HCPs). You will be responsible for disseminating complex scientific and clinical information, gathering insights, and fostering collaborative relationships within the oncology community. This pivotal position allows you to be at the forefront of scientific exchange, driving appropriate use of innovative therapies and contributing to medical strategy in the remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with KOLs and HCPs to discuss scientific and clinical data related to our oncology portfolio.
- Respond to unsolicited medical information requests from healthcare professionals.
- Gather insights on treatment landscapes, unmet medical needs, and competitive intelligence from the field.
- Support the development and execution of regional medical affairs strategies.
- Identify potential investigators and sites for clinical trials and research collaborations.
- Present complex scientific data at medical meetings and advisory boards.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD) in a relevant scientific or clinical discipline.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an MSL or in a similar medical affairs role within the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in Oncology .
- Deep understanding of oncology therapeutic areas, clinical trial design, and data interpretation.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with medical experts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage a territory effectively, and travel extensively as required for this remote role.
