Medical Science Liaison (MSL) - Oncology

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specializing in Oncology to join their dynamic, remote-first team. In this field-based role, you will serve as a critical scientific and clinical resource, building relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare providers, and researchers across the UK. You will engage in scientific exchange, present complex clinical data, and gather insights to support the company's medical strategy and product development, all while working autonomously from your chosen location. This is an exciting opportunity to represent a leading pharmaceutical innovator in a role that requires deep scientific expertise and strong interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong, peer-to-peer relationships with leading oncology KOLs, researchers, and healthcare professionals.
• Deliver accurate, balanced, and scientifically rigorous information on the company's oncology portfolio and relevant disease states.
• Gather and communicate valuable insights from KOLs and healthcare providers regarding clinical practice, unmet medical needs, and competitive intelligence.
• Support clinical trial activities, including investigator identification, recruitment, and data dissemination.
• Present scientific data at medical conferences, advisory boards, and internal meetings.
• Contribute to the development of the medical affairs strategy and scientific communication plans.

Requirements

• Advanced scientific degree (PharmD, PhD, MD) in a relevant life science discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison or in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in oncology .
• Deep understanding of oncology, clinical trial design, and the regulatory landscape.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to engage effectively with key opinion leaders and build scientific relationships.
• Must be comfortable working independently and managing territory remotely across the UK.
