Medical Science Liaison (MSL) - Oncology

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly knowledgeable and dynamic Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specializing in Oncology to cover the South East region, including Brighton . This field-based role is critical for building strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals, disseminating scientific and clinical information, and gathering insights on unmet medical needs. You will be an integral part of the medical affairs team, acting as a scientific expert and a crucial link between the company and the medical community. This role demands a strong scientific background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to travel extensively.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with KOLs to discuss clinical data, research findings, and therapeutic strategies in oncology.
• Present complex scientific and clinical information accurately and effectively.
• Gather and relay medical insights and competitive intelligence from the field to internal teams.
• Support the development and execution of medical affairs strategies.
• Identify potential investigators for clinical trials and research collaborations.
• Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with relevant codes of conduct and regulations.

Requirements

• Advanced scientific degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent) in a relevant life science field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an MSL or in a similar medical affairs role, preferably in oncology.
• Deep understanding of the oncology landscape, clinical trial design, and current research.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with key stakeholders in East Sussex .
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the designated territory.
