Medical Science Liaison (MSL) - Oncology

About the Role

Our client, a global leader in pharmaceutical innovation, is looking for an accomplished and scientifically driven Medical Science Liaison (MSL) with a specialization in Oncology to join their expanding medical affairs team. Operating remotely but covering the Wolverhampton territory and surrounding areas, you will be the key scientific and medical expert, engaging with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and researchers. Your role will be pivotal in fostering scientific exchange, supporting clinical research, and communicating complex scientific data related to the company's oncology portfolio. Key Responsibilities

• Engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals (HCPs) to discuss scientific and clinical data related to the company's oncology products.
• Identify and support potential investigator-initiated studies (IIS) and clinical trial sites.
• Present complex scientific and medical information accurately and effectively to diverse audiences.
• Serve as a scientific resource for internal teams, including medical affairs, R&D, and marketing.
• Attend and represent the company at key scientific congresses and symposia.
• Gather and relay insights from KOLs and the medical community to inform company strategy.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, DO) in a relevant scientific or medical field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an MSL or in a related medical affairs role within the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong focus on Oncology .
• Deep understanding of cancer biology, treatment landscapes, and current clinical research.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with key medical stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the designated territory (Wolverhampton and surrounding regions) and occasionally nationally/internationally.
