Medical Science Liaison (MSL) - Oncology

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly knowledgeable and engaging Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to focus on their Oncology portfolio in the Wolverhampton region. This field-based role involves building strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the medical community, disseminating scientific and clinical information about their innovative oncology treatments, and gathering insights to support research and development efforts. You will be a crucial scientific expert, representing the company's commitment to advancing cancer care and fostering scientific exchange.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain peer-to-peer relationships with KOLs, oncologists, researchers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Present complex scientific and clinical data on oncology products accurately and effectively.
• Gather insights from medical experts regarding treatment landscapes, unmet medical needs, and clinical research trends.
• Support investigator-initiated studies and facilitate medical education initiatives.
• Represent the company at scientific congresses, advisory boards, and other relevant medical meetings.
• Provide internal medical affairs support and communicate relevant scientific information to various departments.

Requirements

• Advanced scientific degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent) with a specialization in Oncology or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in medical affairs, clinical research, or pharmaceutical R&D, preferably with MSL experience.
• Deep understanding of oncology, cancer biology, and current treatment paradigms.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory and occasionally nationally/internationally.
• Strong scientific acumen and the ability to critically evaluate medical literature.
