Medical Science Liaison (MSL) - Oncology

About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a highly knowledgeable and engaging Medical Science Liaison (MSL) with a specialization in Oncology to cover the Bristol region. This field-based role is pivotal in building and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and clinical investigators within the oncology community. You will serve as a critical scientific and clinical resource, communicating complex data and scientific information regarding our client's therapeutic areas and pipeline. This position offers the unique opportunity to contribute to medical affairs strategy and advance scientific exchange in a rapidly evolving field. You will operate with significant autonomy, leveraging your expertise to foster scientific dialogue and support clinical research initiatives in the South West of England.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with oncology KOLs and healthcare professionals to discuss scientific and clinical data related to company products and therapeutic areas.
• Present complex scientific and medical information accurately and effectively to diverse audiences.
• Gather insights from the medical community regarding treatment landscape, unmet needs, and research trends.
• Support clinical trial activities, including investigator identification and site engagement.
• Contribute to the development of regional medical affairs strategies and scientific exchange plans.

Requirements

• Advanced scientific degree (PharmD, PhD, MD) in a relevant life science discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison or in a related medical affairs role.
• Deep therapeutic area expertise in Oncology , with a strong understanding of current research and clinical practice.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with KOLs.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
