Medical Science Liaison (MSL)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join their team, covering the Bradford region and surrounding areas. As an MSL, you will be the key scientific and medical resource for healthcare professionals, fostering peer-to-peer relationships and disseminating critical information about our client's innovative therapeutic areas. This role requires a deep understanding of disease states, treatment guidelines, and scientific data, combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will play a vital part in ensuring that the scientific value of our client's products is understood and appropriately utilized by the medical community, working collaboratively and strategically across the North of England.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), clinicians, and researchers within assigned therapeutic areas.
• Deliver scientific and clinical presentations, respond to unsolicited medical inquiries, and facilitate scientific exchange.
• Gather and report insights from healthcare professionals regarding unmet medical needs, treatment patterns, and clinical practice.
• Support the planning and execution of medical affairs strategies, including advisory boards and investigator-initiated studies.
• Ensure all activities are conducted in full compliance with relevant company policies, industry codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to the development of medical education materials and scientific communications.

Requirements

• Advanced scientific degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, MSc) in a relevant life science or healthcare discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an MSL or in a similar medical affairs role within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong knowledge of the therapeutic area(s) relevant to the role and understanding of the healthcare landscape.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills , with the ability to engage effectively with medical experts.
• Proven ability to manage territory, prioritize activities, and work independently.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel extensively within the assigned territory, including Bradford .
