Medical Science Liaison (MSL)

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and scientifically driven Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join their expanding medical affairs team in the Bradford region. In this critical role, you will serve as the key scientific expert and communicator for our innovative pharmaceutical products, engaging with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the therapeutic area. You will foster collaborative relationships, disseminate scientific information, and gather insights to support our research and development strategies. This hybrid role requires significant travel within your territory, balanced with remote work for reporting and planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), researchers, and healthcare professionals within the assigned therapeutic area.
• Deliver scientific and clinical presentations, respond to unsolicited medical information requests, and facilitate scientific exchange.
• Gather and communicate insights from KOLs and the broader medical community to internal teams, informing strategy and research.
• Support clinical trial activities, including site identification, investigator engagement, and data collection support.
• Represent the company at scientific congresses, symposia, and other relevant medical meetings.
• Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Advanced scientific degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent) in a relevant life science field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a medical science liaison role or similar medical affairs position within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Deep scientific and clinical knowledge in a specific therapeutic area.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with medical experts.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned geographical region.
