Medical Science Liaison (MSL)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly knowledgeable and motivated Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join their dedicated medical affairs team. This fully remote position is critical for building and maintaining strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals within the therapeutic area. You will be responsible for disseminating complex scientific and clinical information, gathering insights from the medical community, and supporting the company's scientific exchange strategies. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong clinical or scientific background who excels in communication and relationship-building, and who thrives in an autonomous, remote work environment, contributing to the company's mission of advancing medical understanding and patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory-specific medical engagement plan focused on scientific exchange.
• Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare providers.
• Present complex scientific and clinical data in a clear, concise, and accurate manner.
• Gather insights from the medical community regarding unmet needs, treatment patterns, and research trends.
• Respond to unsolicited medical information requests from healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including clinical development, regulatory affairs, and marketing.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, DO, or equivalent) in a relevant scientific or clinical discipline.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a medical science liaison or similar role within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Deep understanding of the relevant therapeutic area and scientific landscape.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain strong professional relationships.
• Must be comfortable working independently and managing a remote territory effectively.
