About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Medical Writer to join their dynamic team in Stoke-on-Trent , focusing on pharmaceutical publications. This role is crucial for translating complex scientific and clinical data into clear, accurate, and compliant documents for various audiences, including healthcare professionals and regulatory bodies. You will play a key role in ensuring the timely dissemination of critical information about our client's pharmaceutical products. Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality medical documents, including clinical study reports, manuscripts, abstracts, and regulatory submission documents.
- Ensure all written materials are scientifically accurate, clear, concise, and compliant with relevant guidelines (e.g., GPP, ICMJE).
- Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including clinicians, statisticians, and regulatory experts.
- Manage the publication planning process, coordinating timelines and ensuring adherence to deadlines.
- Review and edit medical and scientific documents written by others to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Stay current with therapeutic area advancements and relevant medical literature.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in a life science, medical, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Writer in the pharmaceutical industry or a medical communications agency.
- Proven ability to interpret complex clinical data and present it effectively.
- Thorough understanding of pharmaceutical development, clinical trial processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in document management systems and reference management software.
