About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and articulate Medical Writer to join their communications team, supporting their pharmaceutical research and development efforts from a remote location, while contributing to projects relevant to Derby . This role is responsible for producing high-quality, scientifically accurate documents for various audiences, including regulatory agencies, healthcare professionals, and patients. You will translate complex scientific and clinical data into clear, concise, and compliant narratives. Key Responsibilities

• Author, edit, and review a range of medical and scientific documents, including clinical study reports, regulatory submission documents, manuscripts, and abstracts.
• Ensure all documents are scientifically accurate, clear, concise, and compliant with relevant guidelines and standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medical affairs, clinical development, and regulatory affairs, to gather information and ensure document accuracy.
• Manage document development timelines, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outputs.
• Interpret complex scientific and clinical data, presenting it effectively for different target audiences.
• Maintain awareness of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in medical writing.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in a life science, medical, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a medical writer in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical communications industry.
• Proven ability to write and edit various types of medical and scientific documents.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, regulatory requirements, and scientific principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote setting.
