Medical Writer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Medical Writer to join their medical affairs department, functioning in a fully remote capacity. You will be responsible for developing clear, accurate, and scientifically sound documents for a variety of audiences, including regulatory submissions, clinical study reports, publications, and educational materials. This role requires a strong understanding of pharmaceutical development and excellent writing skills to effectively communicate complex scientific data. It's an excellent opportunity for a proficient writer who can manage their workload from home and contribute to the dissemination of critical medical information for global pharmaceutical products.

Key Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and review various medical documents, ensuring scientific accuracy, clarity, and adherence to style guides and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare clinical study reports (CSRs), Investigator Brochures (IBs), and protocols.
• Develop manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals and abstracts for scientific conferences.
• Create regulatory submission documents, such as modules for Common Technical Document (CTD).
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (e.g., clinicians, scientists, regulatory specialists) to gather information and ensure content accuracy.
• Manage document development timelines and ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a life science, pharmacy, or a related scientific field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Writer in the pharmaceutical industry or a related scientific communication field.
• Proven experience in writing clinical study reports, regulatory documents, and publications.
• Excellent understanding of pharmaceutical development processes and clinical research.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
