About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Medical Writer to join their medical affairs team, working remotely. This role is essential for creating clear, accurate, and scientifically sound medical documents that support the development and communication of pharmaceutical products. You will translate complex scientific and clinical data into high-quality documents for various audiences, including regulatory authorities, healthcare professionals, and patients. This position is perfect for a talented writer who can work independently and effectively manage projects in a remote setting, contributing to vital medical communication efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Author, edit, and review a variety of medical documents, including clinical study reports (CSRs), Investigator's Brochures (IBs), and regulatory submission documents.
• Develop scientific publications, abstracts, and presentations for medical congresses and journals.
• Ensure all medical documents are accurate, scientifically sound, and compliant with regulatory standards and company guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medical directors, statisticians, and regulatory specialists, to gather information and ensure document quality.
• Manage multiple writing projects simultaneously, adhering to strict timelines and project milestones.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of therapeutic areas, regulatory requirements, and writing best practices.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in a life science, biomedical field, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a medical writer in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Proven ability to write high-quality clinical and regulatory documents.
• Thorough understanding of clinical trial processes, drug development, and relevant regulatory guidelines (e.g., ICH).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficiency in working remotely, managing time effectively, and collaborating digitally.
