Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals with mental health conditions, assisting with daily living activities as needed.
• Develop and implement personalized support plans in collaboration with service users and mental health professionals.
• Offer emotional support, encouragement, and a non-judgmental listening ear to clients.
• Facilitate engagement in community activities, social networks, and therapeutic interventions.
• Monitor clients' well-being, promptly reporting any changes or concerns to the care team.
• Assist clients in developing coping strategies and life skills to promote independence and recovery.

Requirements

• Experience in mental health support or a related field within Community & Social Care .
• Understanding of various mental health conditions and recovery-oriented practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with empathy and patience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to upholding confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care) are desirable.
