Mental Health Support Worker

About the Role

Our client is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Support Worker to join their team in Bradford . This role involves providing essential support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges, helping them to manage their conditions, build coping mechanisms, and reintegrate into the community. Working in a hybrid capacity, you will engage with clients through a combination of in-person visits and remote communication, fostering a supportive and therapeutic relationship, and playing a key role in promoting recovery and well-being for service users across the Bradford area.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support to individuals with mental health conditions in their homes and community.
• Assist clients with daily living tasks, including budgeting, appointments, and social activities.
• Develop and implement individualised recovery plans in collaboration with clients and professionals.
• Facilitate access to appropriate mental health services and resources.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
• Respond sensitively to clients' emotional and psychological needs.

Requirements

• Experience working in a mental health or social care setting.
• Good understanding of mental health conditions and recovery principles.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
