Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one emotional and practical support to individuals with mental health conditions remotely.
- Assist clients in developing and maintaining daily living skills, including routine management and self-care.
- Support clients in accessing community resources, social activities, and therapeutic interventions.
- Monitor client well-being, accurately documenting observations and any changes in their condition.
- Collaborate with mental health professionals and family members to ensure a cohesive support network.
- Empower clients to set personal goals and work towards achieving them independently.
Requirements
- Experience in a mental health or social care setting is essential.
- Demonstrable understanding of mental health conditions and recovery principles.
- Excellent listening skills, patience, and empathy.
- Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal, for remote interaction.
- Proficiency with technology for virtual communication and record-keeping.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage caseloads effectively from a remote location.
