Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support to clients, assisting with daily living tasks, emotional well-being, and social inclusion.
• Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients, offering a non-judgmental and supportive presence.
• Support clients in attending appointments, engaging in community activities, and developing life skills.
• Assist in the creation and implementation of individual support plans, monitoring progress and adapting strategies as needed.
• Promote independence and recovery, empowering clients to achieve their personal goals.
• Work collaboratively with other professionals, including mental health nurses, psychiatrists, and social workers, to ensure integrated care.

Requirements

• Previous experience supporting individuals with mental health conditions is highly desirable.
• A genuine desire to help others and a compassionate, patient approach.
• Good communication and active listening skills.
• Understanding of mental health issues, recovery principles, and safeguarding procedures.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently.
